The intestinal microbiota is a complex microbial community that live with and inside us (inhabit our gastrointestinal tract) and carries out many functions such as protection against pathogens, modulation of the immune system and production of essential components. The alteration of the microbiota (dysbiosis) has been associated with several illnesses, C. difficile infection, IBD, Crohn’s disease, and medical treatments like antibiotic therapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy.

We offer the analyses of the composition and functionality of the intestinal microbiota, from a stool sample, using next generation sequencing technologies (NGS) coupled with advance bioinformatics.

These analyses allow us to quantify and characterize the populations of intestinal microbes on each customer, and the comparison with healthy population to understand the alterations and the possible connection with certain diseases. The use of advance technologies together with our scientific experience enable us to provide a comprehensive report that can be easily understand by non-specialized users.

If you store your microbiota when you are healthy, you will be able to use it in the future to restore your altered intestinal microbiota. Do not get microbiota from other donors, keep yours storage under optimized conditions to use whenever is need it.
